It's Not A Painting

There's really nothing better to get a photo and then look at it and say "wow!". It's always a wonderful feeling to truly capture on my camera what I see through my eyes. This is one of those rare pictures that are just as beautiful looking at it on my computer as when I was standing there in person.

Sunflower

I think nothing screams Fall like sunflowers. They are so big and bright and just command people passing by to notice them. I really like this photo because the pumpkins in the background are slightly blurred which really brings out the sunflower even more.

Peek-a-Boo Praying Mantis

I worked for about a half hour trying to get this shot. I actually sat and watched the praying mantis go from one side of my back stairs to the other side. By this photo you can tell she was getting a little tired of me watching her.

Lightening

My goal last year was to get a good picture of lightening. I don't have a fancy or expensive camera. I use a Canon point and shoot camera. I do have a quick finger though. It took a couple tries, but the pay off was so sweet.
